Lorsque le jaune s’est imposé, j’ai développé l’idée d’un arbre tropical et d’une lumière solaire. Un dattier, un cocotier ou un palmier ? Quand on ne connaît pas les noms des arbres, et qu’on invente une histoire, « palmae » c’est un peu de toutes ces plantes à la fois.

When yellow became the obvious choice, I developed the idea of a tropical tree and sunlight. A date tree or a palm tree ? When you don’t know the names of the trees, and you invent a story, « palmae » is a bit of all these plants at once.
